If you're talking about the true 429/460 big blocks
they will "fit", but its really really tight.

Gotta do stuff like pull the engine to change spark plugs.

ya you just have to stiffen the living crap out of it with sub frame conectors and a roll cage, and probably a strut tower brace

Pretty much yep.
Big blocks will fit and there are engine mount and header kits for the swap
but they are really shoe horned in there tight.

Its the rear plugs you cant get to. I have a hard time getting to the ones just on my 351W

R. barn I am suprised at you, no to the original poster you wont. The bbf fits nicely into the fox engine bay, summit sells a kit, look on www.460ford.com on their auction block they have a kit, personally i would say 460 just for c.i. reasons, but its up to you.

torino's lincoln's tbirds all of them from the 70's except the tbird and lincolns you can find them with a 460 in 68 and 9. You can get em out of a truck but the D9 block is a little different and may require some maching. Basically all the blocks are the same, the DOVE block is the most desired its a bit stronger and the cobra jet ones came with a 4 bolt main.
