Overheating

Default Overheating

So my water pump was leaking throuh the weap hole. I changed it and all seems fine and well with it but it is still overheating. Thermostat

You may have an air pocket and or the t-stat could be bad. W/ the car cold, open the rad cap. Start the car and let it idle. If the coolant is all the way at the top of the radiator, drain out some so there is about 3-4 inches of the radiator showing. This will give the system room to "burp" the air out. You'll prolly see a bunch of bubbling. As the car starts to reach operating temp, you should see coolant start to flow thru the radiator tubes and the level drop. Slowly add coolant to top off the system, button it up and take it for a spin.
