Vinyl stripes on 5.0?

I was wondering if anyone has done stripes in vinyl? I know you can get a cleaner line with them. What is the ups and downs of these?

Haven't put them on my stang, but thing I don't like is the edge you feel when you run your hand across the car. Not to mention I figure it makes waxing the car a fun job with the slight edge it creates.
