Default Idle shaking problem

I have a 94 mustang gt convertible , when the car is at idle there is shaking inside but when i start to drive it at higher rpms there is no shaking and runs good as soon as i hit the idle there is lots of shaking. What can it be , is it motor mounts?

That would be my first guess. Has it been tuned up lately?

depends on how much shaking??? If the motor itself is shaking excessively at idle only ...maybe look for a vaccum leak if that's not the case give it a good tune up

Same thing is happening to my fox. I thought it was the motor mounts as well so I changed those along with the tranny mount but there's still a lot of shaking. I looked for vaccum leaks or a disconnected hose but I didn't find any. My next step was to change the fan as it is a bit worn. If that doesn't fix it, i'll be replacing the harmonic dampner.

maybe it's just got a really big cam hahah...but yeah, i'd go motor mounts first, and then vaccum leaks

i think somebody said a while back that their car was doing this and they changed the harmonic balancer and it fixed it right up.
so i guess if u run out of ideas try that.
