I went to a mustang dyno yesterday in Northern Kentucky. I was a little disappointed with the numbers for my setup. They were 277rwhp/295rwtq. I expected my hp to be up around 300. I dont have my dyno sheet with me so i cant post it up here but i will tonight. I was making max hp at 5600. That is what i didnt understand, i thought that i would be making power up to about 6500, my problem might be my tf stg. 1 cam. .499/.510. I know that i need to tighten down at least 1 rocker arm on the drivers side b/c i can hear the clatter. Any suggestions? question for anyone else with the trick flow top end, how far were you making power on your dyno?

My setup:
Trick flow TW heads ported and polished, 1.6 rr's
TF stage one cam
TF track heat upper and lower, polished
Shorty headers, o/r X, flowmaster 40s
70 mm tb, 80 mm maf, 24 lb injectors
FP set at 40 w/o vac

Dont know what else you would need to know but just post anything else
No power to 6500 with that Cam...Shift before 6k...probably stops making power about 5600-5800....I have the same cam and continue to make power past 6k but that is because of the blower.

1. Mustang Dynos read lower numbers(Just read a test and they concluded the Mustang Dyno read5.1 percent lower numbers than a Dynojet-so that would make your 277---291)

2. How many miles on that kit?

3. What was the Temp outside?

about 6000 miles on the heads cam and injectors, 700 on the intake, and 200 on the clutch.
it was about 70 degrees during the dyno

Adder, y do you say that i would have made more with the GT40 stuff. The cobra came with the GT40 stuff and people replace that with trick flow stuff all the time. The cobras didnt make that much more hp than the gts. wasnt it something like 210 at the rear wheels? idk but when i asked b4 i bought everyone said either trick flow or afr. The first deal that i got was on the trick flow stuff so that is what i went with. I guess a better question is what would you have gone with?

Hey, sorry i didnt get back to you when you replied to my post. My car is a manual. When you get that nitrous and 306 in could you send me a message and let me know what kind of numbers you make. I am looking at a similar setup and would like to know how it turns out for you. Thanks for your feedback
