Default Fix the Ghetto Leaning Seat

Is it possible to fix the "ghetto leaning" seat? I know foxes are notorious for this. Mine just so happens to be my drivers seat. Suggestions?

yes.... I have fixed many.....the tack welds on the frame have broken loose and if it's been that way for a while like mine was the metal starts to crack too....you'll have to remove the seat and take it apart and remove the upholstry and weld it up....you'll need hog rings and hog ring pliers as the foam is usually held in places to the frame with those as mine was

Well got the hog rings and pliers from redoing my 05 seats to leather. Hmmm...difficulty ofthe job? I really wish I could get my race seats to fit but at this point, I'm looking to fix the ghetto seat.

depends!!!! if you've never used a mig welder before.....all the guys at my shop turn to me for welding because I've done alot of welding......so if you've never welded before then it may try your patience cause the key to welding is get proper penetration without burning through but mig welders are fairly easy to use

i belive the term is "gangsta lean" its common among fox bodies, young white males who think they look like the young black males that do it.

haha just get some new seats that are better looking. i'm picking up a newer set of cobra seats for 160. looks very nice, too bad ill have to change the material to match.
