Doing some Oil Leak Maint. Got my trans out. Can someone help ID my torque converter? I have a C-4 in an 87 and the converter measures about 9.5 inches,maybe 9, with the number P 83044 stamped on it. The car has4:30's in the rear and a 1969 302 in it. It was a 4 cyl to begin with. So as I tear it apart I continue to believe it was built to race. The red comp cam roller rockers and stubs from the cut out cage were a little giveaway. Any help?
