well, i'd probably do it in the engine bay. It will be easier to keep it centralized there, and you won't have to worry about running all those wires. just a thought.

relocate the battery to the trunk like I did and fab up a plate and put it there!!!!

yea relocating the batt wuld be tight, but if i can avoid doing that right now i will.... ill go out and look under the hood tomorrow... ill try to find a place for it

I say ignition also. And if whatever cam you git tries to give you fits with the factory SD, then you could go with Megasquirt like Adder

i have the XE270 cam, the car really woke up at about 3k to 3500rpms and pulled hard to 6k.
i cant wait to get the motor fixed and put back together, the guy at the machine shop said maby high 11's for usre low 12's.

Your gonna need a rebuild kit for your rear end when you do gears. What about axles? 28 spline mosers will take you well into the 11's before being something to worry about. Cheap insurance since breaking an axle can me sending your car into the wall at the track.

The comp 270 is the same cam I had. It ran well with sd, just surged at idle a lot. Sometimes the car would idle and lope but most of the time it surged. Idling the car around 1000-1100 gets rid of the surge though.If someone ask you what wrong with your car just say "its broken, wanna race", it will shut them up.

hah good ****... i thought u had a differant cam, with a little less intake duration? eh, maybe i was mistaken

anyway, the rear is good to go... and if an axle breaks... well that would suck lol... but... i dont shock the rear hard enough i dont think[:@]
