Default foxbody 0-60?

does anybody know 0-60 specs on stock 5.0's? my brother thinks it is 4.9-5.1, but i think he's crazy. i have an 88 gt and a 90 notch, both stock. i thought it was around 6 seconds myself.

Straight from the 5.0 technical reference manual I have been using lately...

'885.0
Car and driver tested at 6.2 seconds for the 5spd in both 8/88 and 12/88; MCR(?) posted 6.47. for LX's with 3.08 gears for both of them.

M&F 6.6 with a 5spd in 11/90 with 2.73 gears. that was a GT convertible car per the book.

Hope that helps...

It doesn't take much for a 5 liter Fox to run 4.9, but there is no way it will stock.

Also, automatic Foxes are a bit slower than 5-speed cars.

Not if we run big converters.
