RE: I need a source for water pump bolts!!!
Ok... here we go...
About a week ago I went to the dealer for a set of those bolts and they sad they still do make them (or can get them) but only one was discontinued. They did have the 2 shortest ones with the studs in stock ($13 something each)... He actually showed them to me.
Motormite (Help) makes a set but are very generic looking and are made in china (I found them at Pep ******) They are $12 for the three pack. The threads are garbage, but would prolly still work. The bolt has a big letter "M" on it, but the bolt head isn't as big as the original bolt head.
They are part number 23744, but they would be my last resort.

RE: I need a source for water pump bolts!!!
Now, last weekend I went to PicK N Pull, and all the way in te back was an 85 T Bird (This thing must have had under 20K miles on it) and I took the bolts and timing cover from it... All the bolts are ****... no rust or corrosion, and the timing cover was in great shape also. I got the bolts and a section of vacuum hose for $1.85. The bolts still have the factory ford gray paint on them.
The pic doesn't do them justice.
These are the correct ones as well for my 90. I'll be re doing the front end of my engine and wanted to have these just in case I'll need them. But usually every time I go to PickN Pull, I yank a bolt out, and they usually all come out rusted, and I leave them alone.

RE: I need a source for water pump bolts!!!
And here they are with the paint removed
So I'd cheack the local yards, and see if any 5.0 (even T-birds, cougars, lincolns etc) and pull them if there clean.
And I believe the dealer told me that the ones they could get would run me $80 + tax [:@]
Edit- it sucks... It's Friday night, and instead of going out and getting some, I am at home removing paint from bolts
