Default Have you ever dealt with Fordstrokers.com?

Considering dealing with them on a short block, just wondering if anyone has any experience to share about them, good, bad, or indifferent?

Woody is a good person to deal with!! he will spend a lot of time talking to you and giving you his opinion and knowledge....Ithink I talked to him for a least a total of 3 hrs on seperate occasions and he helped me gain a comfort level that allowed me to have complete faith and trust in him to build my 347.....hopefully it'll be done soon.......he is rather backed up so patiences is key but he refuses to sacrifice quality for quicker build times!!! = A1 service.... so I'd reccommend him!! you'll know it's built right in the end!!! and he and his serviceare very personable!! your not just a number to him like you would be at DSSor CHP[:'(]

fordstrokers is a great company.
i called them last thursday cause i had some questions about his shortblocks.
and the owner talked to me for almost an hour making sure my questions were answered the best they could.
im actually going to call back today and actually order my shortblock and all the other stuff he recomended.
just call him and talk to him, you'll see why he gets such good reviews from us.

I've heard nothing but great things about him. I plan on going to him when it's time for me to get a stroker.

This was a legitimate business that closed down. This is a dishonest guy working in his garage. The engine I received was painted and polished on the outside to appear as finished product. After disassembly I discovered that no actual work was done. I am out $3200. Don't make a same mistake.

i’ve been out of the game for quite some time. In fact, I sold my 85 GT that had a 347 built by woody in it. But that was back in 2008 when I bought it. There are many people out there that have motors from him and he did not work out of his garage. Not sure what happened to him recently or what happened in your case. However, at the time when I got my stuff from him, he was the person to get it from, and he built quality. I didn’t even know he was out of business or even know if that’s true, but I’m gonna look into it as I’m curious.
