im going to have to look into mine a little more carefully i guess i have an 89, that has saleen guages in it, i would expect saleen to have a low fuel light?
my 91gt does not have one =/, and if it does, it doesnt work lol, although ive never ran outta gas in it, but i have probably been really really close.
i got it. i have all the gauges too. fuel. tach, speed, temp, oil pressure, volts. one thing i don't get is everyone i know who ever had one of these cars says their oil light would come on when they get a quart low. mine never did, but the the light does come on the display at start up so i know the bulb isn't burned out. it doesn't come on when i reach a quart low in my 03 mach either.
The oil light monitors pressure, not volume. Shouldn't be coming on if you're down a litre because that shouldn't affect the pressure enough to trigger the light. You have to check the dipstick to monitor the oil volume.
