yea i didnt see the point in diluting it, i have never taken a hose to the engine bay, im afraid i might mess somehting up. I spray it on and let it sit for a min the scrub, scrub, scrub. Iv made progress but mines not as easy as your making it sound, but i think this is probly the first time any cleaning like this has gone down in the car since 94 so theres alot of build up.

That could be your problem, water is your friend. Cover the entire engine with simple green and a few minutes later hose it off good, you will be amazed. Just don't directly spray things like the MAF, disty or any large wiring harnesses and you'll be fine, they make the engines pretty much water proof.
