i was just wondering if anyone could tell me the highest lift cam i can put in a bone stock 1995 5.0 with out changing my valve train ect.

 

This question get's asked alot. Seriously, a big cam will slow down a stock 5.0. I know a f-cam will fit. A bud of mine did it on his stock car and lost almost 4 tenths. Save up and get a setof heads then go for the cam.

 

the stock valvetrain floats with the stock cam....anything more will just make it worse. trust us. and another thing to remember is that the 94-95's comp's are really picky. you can't run a real crazy cam in them without out some real good tuning

 

Just for future knowledge you don't need to post the same thread in both 5.0 sections. As for which cam u should run in your stock 5.0, the stock one.

k so if i put in a tfs stage 1 cam i would have no problems??

 

you will lose power and your car will run and idle crappy, what don't you get about dont put a cam in a stock 5.0?
