used 2nd day air shipping, hoping it will be here saturday, that'd be nice...also, don't think i have an anti-freeze leak, i think it just flew out of the overfill cap or w/e that is, we filled it up today, and no leaking

Hmm I've never seen my temp go that high, I dont even know if mine has gone much past half. My car runs cool. But hopefully your car didnt overheat too bad, sounds like its alright. If my friends jeep could run a few days with out any coolant at all (bone dry when we went to flush rad/change thermostat) Im sure your mustang is fine.

When mine pegged the gauge it was a head gasket, but that was after I popped it right after a NOS install and it detonated one time[:@]

dammit! thanks anyway man, its appreciated...the holes are just the design right, they don't actually do anything right

and yeah my car is usually between 150 and 180 when it runs normal

Another solution: I took my original smog pump off, took it apart, hollowed it out, and put it back on. Now its basically just the same as a smog pump delete pulley, all it has to spin is the bearing on the pulley.
