it sounds like your belt tensinor siezed up and the belt came off the pulley did u notice any noise near the tensinor before this all happened but i dont know about the anti freeze may the belt wipped the radiator and punctered something idk good luck man[:@]

 

That's what mine was before I pulled it off. Passed visual inspection when we used to have emissions testing here

 

my mechanic said the tensior has like a "gravelling" noise when you touch it, which i felt also when i touched it, but it seems to be the smog pump delete pulley, because it has no tightness, it wobbles and you can move it back and forth, its like eaten through

and mem 302 : i don't have my smog pump, the delete was done by the previous owner

lxman : there seems to be no leak, we filled it back up with antifreeze yesterday and it isn't dripping anywhere..

 

yah the smog pump delete chould do it to i was thinking of doing the same mod to mine

 

the part came on tuesday, but i'm at school..will be going home shortly, and will be putting it on...its an easy install, right?
