95 gt Push Button Start
I have a 95 gt. The guy I bought it from broke the ignition key cylinder but thats alright cause I want to put a push button start in anyway. I have everything I need exept I can't find a wiring diagram for the ignition switch anywhere ? I want to wire everything on toggle switches + push button (momentary switch) for the starter. Also since buying the car I've talked to a lot of experienced mustang mechanics and they say the 94/95 GT's are the hardest to get more power out of . Is this true and why ??? Any help with this would be great.

RE: 95 gt Push Button Start
Can help you with the latter but, as for the wiring diagram; check out http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/engine/ It may be there.

RE: 95 gt Push Button Start
If you go out and look at what color your wire is on your silenoid on the SMALL post inbetween the 2 bigger post, you then look in your ignition harness for that color then have a switch on power source on one side of the button and the small wire going to the silenoid and presto! you have push button start! They are not *hard* to get power out of but are very tempermental because of the ecu that they used and doesnt like big changes.
