Not their stuff, they don't care. nmerrill, 2200 worth of parts 300 miles away? Shoulda had your brother go pick up them parts and report a claim on shipping. Forget just an email.

when i ordered the chip for my car the fedex guy threw it out the back of his truck onto my door step . that WAS a 400+ dollar chip . when i contacted them they said they would remburce the cost of the product to me but it would 60 days before that would happen . i should be getting the check any day now so i can order it again , but this time i am going to the terminal to pick it up , and i thought engines were shipped bolted into a crete , my dad ordered a 572 and it came in a wooden crete and it was bolted to it and had a ton of packing foam in it .

It is not with both. We all know CHP did not package this motor correctly. Trust me, I deal with freight claims weekly. The exact same thing happens with 400lb compressors or condensing units that I work with. Once the frieght company takes it into their truck it is their responsibilty no matter what happens with it until it is delivered. End of story. However, I would definatley mention something to CHP about it and see what you can get for free.

As for the original shortblock, the frieght company will have to purchase it for its original cost and it will then most likely be put up for auction. Maybe there are some re usable pieces you might like to have. This is a good time to get it for cheap.
