RE: speeding ticket
No, the paper work probably got mixed up, you should definately contact the DMV and ask where the paper work is, because if not, you can be fined late payment fee's or even have an unpaid ticket on your record, etc...

RE: speeding ticket
actually all of the above is just about false. If you havent recieved any phone calls, and you havent gotten anything in the mail then they either did drop it, or it was never presented in the first place or they lost it. DO NOT call them. Leave it how it is. If something shows up saying you didnt appear in court, or you get a phone call, go from there. Otherwise leave it be.

RE: speeding ticket
Call the court registry in the jurisdiction where the ticket was issued. They should be able to tell you if your case is, or was, on an upcoming docket...or if there is a warrant for your arrest!

RE: speeding ticket
In MD, we have a web site for the Judiciary system that you can search by name to see any cases, open or closed, to get dates and info.
Only way I know i have to go to court March 7th for riding a wheelie on my street bike past a state trooper....
@$$hole got me after i parked at the pool hall

RE: speeding ticket
in GA, on most counties tickets there is a court date written on the ticket for you to plea if you want to plea not guilty. After you do that, then they give you another court date.
