I have had both, and ill take the vortech over teh nitrous anyday. It is a PITA when your bottle gets empty, and expensive after awhile. With the blower its always there. You make one inital investment and your set. Save up for the blower, and why an SQ? You dont want that whistle?

if your looking to spend nearly 3k for a s/c why not turbo it for the same price and get more power?

Cause some people prefer consistent, less hassle power.

I would say SC. If your buddy was getting bad gas milage then it was because he was having so much fun using the power. Check and see how much it cost to refill the bottle and do the math to see how many refills it will take you to make up the extra you would spend on the SC.

I had the NOS 5115 stage 2 150 hp kit on my car for 10 years and never had any problems.
I got a Vortech s/c because I got tired of filling bottles, and I love the sound it makes.

Definately, if you were gonna spend 3k on a blower go with a quicktime turbo kit. i think they are 2800. I only went with the vortech cause i got it for like 1300 shipped

ok, but if i get the s/c or turbo, won't i have to get a better transmission because i'm running on a stock t5, because apparently its only good up to 350hp, As well as a bigger fuel pump, and injectors to support that blower???
