Default Carb ? what size?

I just bought a victor Jr manifold and i was wondering what size car i should get i know a guy who has the same set up but hes running a holley 750 cfm carb but he says its a little big. But its great when he sprays the car! I just was wondering what size would be good for my set up? I plan on getting rockers too but are the 1.7's better then 1.6's for spray or does it not matter. Thanks guys for all ur help!!!!!

A vic Jr and 750cfm would work great on a 302.............................turning 8,000rpm.

Of course a large intake and carb will run fine with nitrous, the power is coming from the nitrous, not the carb. In a wet system, the shot doesn't give a crap whether you're under or over carbureted, the power is in the shot.

As far as rockers, for spray it might help a bit to run 1.7's on the exhaust if you can, just to help with outgoing flow a bit.

What all do you have for a setup?

The motor is bored .40 over 195llh fuel pump 24# injectors bbk headers, x-pipe, E303 and 150 shot! Some other stuff that doesn't have to do with the carb... Stall, gear shift kit so on and so forth.

you do know thAT that intake will mot work for you meaning the victor jr unless you convert your set up to work with carb.....also that intake is to much for a stock 302......it'll hurt more than help...you need a good dual plane on a carbed 302 that is a hot street set up

WAAAYYY too much carb and intake for a stock 302 with only a cam. I have a 357 with 11.1 compression, ported TF's,custom grind with 625/661 lift and dur @ .050 is 246/259. I only run a holley hp 750 and vic jr with my combo. By the time you get in the power rangeof thatcarb and manifold your little 302 will be out of breath.

Run a 600cfm and you'll be fine. But why ditch the EFI??

Get an eddy air gap, thats about the best all around street intake. As for the carb definitly dont need anything over a 600, hell i had a 800 on a 455 big block so a 302 small block doesnt need a 750.
