so im looking at this '83 5.0. one of the quater windows is broke, the guy said itd be easy to find. well its not. im looking online, ebay, craigslist, various sites; and all im getting is "87-93 mustang QUARTER GLASS WINDOWS" will those fit on an '83? because i havent came across a "'83 mustang quater glass windows". or does anyone know where to find them?

Check the salvage yards... anything '79-86 will fit, just remove it yourself, but be careful not to break it. My local glass guy said they can still be purchased brand new, so whenI needed some for the restoration I'm doing, that's what I did... bought new ones.

You can convert them to 87 style but the interior trim will need to be updated

Converting them would take alot more time and money. Just buya new one, take the rear seat out, remove the interior 1/4 panel, take out the old glass and put in the new one. I think the new one only costs like $25 or something. He only needs one... if he converts, he'll have to do both and that's after he finds them and getting good used rubber trim for around them is next to impossible and new rubber is big bucks!

Are you working on a notch or hatch? I have both. Let me know if the search yields nothing. Its yours for the cost to ship. If its a hatchback it will take me a bit to pull, 'cause its cold out and the donor car is under 8' of snow.
