ticking not from engine, or any noticeable place

RE: ticking not from engine, or any noticeable place
I would check u-joints and make sure header bolts are tight. I've had them back out before and it is a very noticeable ticking sound that gets faster the more rpm's your turning.

this is common i guess, cuz as we speak i have the same darn noise coming from my drivers side rear wheel area. i noticed it a week ago. it only does it when rollin so i know know its not the exhaust. plus my exhaust is all new. i thought it was a rock in the tire tread, but no. u hear it most when goin about 15-25 mph and stick your head and ear out. my tires, rims, drum shoes are all new and drum shoes actually replaced about 3 weeks ago. everything seems fine. ima have it checked by my mechanic friend at his shop this weekend. i think its related to brakes system..... (pressure leak)

had the same problem it was driving me insane I even got to the point whereI yanked my lifters out and checked them to see if I had a collapsed one but suprisingly it turned out to be a loose exhaust bolt that connected the header to the h pipe kind of embarrassing[X(]but hey I now can take me whole upper engine apart very quickly and I can put it together blind folded cause I did it so many times

this sounds like just the same thing i have going on
yesterday, when i was parking my car, i turned the wheel all the way to the left, and it seemed to make it worse?!
very slow ticking, and only when rolling at slow speeds, doesent speed up with engine, or anything other then rolling, and seems to go away over 25mph.
i can only really hear it on the road if its quiet out, or if im next to a wall and the sound bounce's back, so its been hard for me to pin point it.
if the wheather is clear on my days off, im going to put the car up and check the wheels out.
im hoping its just something stupid, and im not breaking anything by ignoring it so long
