got it spring of 06. totaled front end, motor near junk. rebuilt front end, painted it, motor finally gave out so now its on the engine stand and im goin nuts on it....firm believer in the saying" real cars are built, not bought"

Mine was 100% stock when I got it with the exception of the tires.

All mine had done was exhaust and silencer removed, that's it. 2.73s and ten holes baby...

347 stroker, susp, gears, clucth, etc etc

Now it's still not done. The 5 lugs almost wrapped up. Front's done and need parts for the rear.

A really interesting thread and poll. I've seen other threads about how hard it is to find a Fox Chassis Mustang that has not been modded. There are a bunch of folks on this thread who didn't have any problem finding stock ones. Am I the only guy who told the truth here, that I bought a nice modded car? Kinda seems like it.

BTW, I've never heard the expression that "real cars are built, not bought". Did you make that up yourself? So my car isn't 'real'? Guess it's a Johnny Lightning! Oh well, I'm done here.

Mines both had some major mods and then i added more. And its true real cars are built not bought!!! You wreck ur stang and uve done nothing but put gas in it then you wouldnt be as upset as someone who has spent hours and hours on building that car makes perfect since!!! Also, just cause your car only had 40k on it dosent mean anything could be 40k of hard driven miles which is most likelythats why it was already modded to go fast!!
