I'll also add that as far as I've ever heard on here, I'm the only person that had a HUGE pain of a time getting those plugs threaded into the heads. If you're lucky, I'm the sole exception to the rule.
No...mine were a pain in the *** too. I used the "bolt as a tap" method. I saturated the threads of each hole with carb cleaner and used the correct thread size bolt to clean the threads of carbon kind of like a tap. It went like so...spray the threads with carb cleaner, turn the bolt in one thread, back it out, clean the carbon off the bolt, spray the hole again, screw the bolt in one more thread, back it out, clean the bolt with carb cleaner, spray the hole with carb cleaner, put the bolt back in the hole and thread it in one more thread...and on...and on...until the bolt threads all the way in up to the head. Took me a good hour each side.
if you are running ud's i think the belt is 747k6 for ud's and770k6 for stock.
i was just told by my buddy (hes a total mustang head) that my belt is too long, by about 1/2" to an inch..i have a/c delete and smog delete, with just the delete pulleys in the respecful spots..i also have underdrive pulleys..i have the stock belt size on now, and its too big
so will the 747k6 be what i need? on autozones website it says "Application: Without A/C"
yeah but if i go that deep into the motor now i might as well go ahead and geta new upper and lower intake and a cam but dont wanna spend that much right now so ill probly just stick with the delete for now thanx though
