I have a 1990 lx with a 351w it has an AOD. It has been rebuilt before but with no shift kit. I was thinking about getting one? So do they really make a difference? If so what brand? Cost? Thanks

 

YES!!! i have the transgo HP kit. ur'e gonna see faster firmer almost on command shifts, especially while at open throttle, man its awesome at open throttle.

u got a 3k-4k rpm stall torque converter, tranny cooler..... if not, get those too!!!!
