RE: window motor help?
If it's never been replaced, look for 3 dimples in the door frame in front of the 3 bolts that hold the window motor on. Drill them out so that you can put either a 5/16 or 8mm socket theu the frame. The loosen the 3 bolts enough to move the motor back away from the regulator enough that the gears do not touch and you can push the window up manually. Once the window is up, you can tighten the motor back down and this should hold the window closed.
Is the motor not working or does it run and not move the window? You can get a gear kit for about $25 and just reploce the 2 drive gears if the motor works.

I just had to take my motor out and after i drilled the rivets out i pulled the window up by hand and then put a hose clamp just underneath it on the bar in the middle and its done fine

RE: window motor help?
my switches all went one by one. first the passenger side, and then the drivers side passenger switch, and finally the drivers side window. to get the passenger side one down or up i had to press the button for it on the drivers side, and the passenger had to pull down on it or up while the passenger pulled down. it was amusing.

RE: window motor help?
I took my panel off and looked at it for a while and moved around some wires then tried it again and it brought it up half way and i pulled it up as I pressed the button, so its up now. I found one of the reasons it fried, the molding on the back of the window was halfway inbetween the inside and outside of the window and it was making a lot of drag.
Before it half way went out itd been going slow but never actually stopped working, It still works but I'm not trying to put the window down or up because I dont want it stuck down.
are these signs that i need a new motor or I've heard of clips or something that go bad that you could replace, does anyone know if it could be that ?

get a new motor. its not like there is a whole lot to these windows. basically only your switch could go bad, but you said you used the switch. The arms could get stuck, just re grease them, and your motor, which you need to replace. And don't forget to grease everything while your in there
