Default 300zx

Just wondering what you guys think of the 300zx's. There's one down the road from me with 93k KMS, twin turbo, t tops power everything and always stored in a car port. The guy said he might be looking to sell it within the next few months. I figured if I could get it for a decent price I might sell the mustang for it. Im 18 and in college right now so I wouldnt be able to have both. I know the Z's are a bit faster stock for stock and apparently they handle like a dream. What do you guys think of them, I've never driven one and have only owned 2 mustangs and a cherokee.

Hmm not very positive posts, lol but I guess I cant expect much from a mustang forum :P One thing I really like is the low km's. And even though imports are harder to work on and more of a pain, they dont seem to break as often.

Is the 300 a factory setup or did someone mess with it and throw the twin turbos in there? I would say if its an unmolestedfactory car its probably gonna be more relialbe then the fox but if someone messed with it then I wouldn't trust it. But keep this in mind, 302 in my 94 F150 with good maintainanceand not being beat onhas run for 206K without a problem.

If it is an unmolested car I would expect to pay a pretty penny for it, being in college is expensive too trust me I been here for 5 years and if you loose a turbo or something how do you feel about not having a car for a while.

a guy here at work has one.
use to talk a bunch of trash to me about how bad *** it was, and how he use to race it and ****.

asked him at LEAST 25times to let me go check it out, but nope, never wanted me too.

well one day i catch him coming into work, he parked just as i was pulling in the parking lot, so i pulled behind his car, revved my car a little so he would notice me, and parked like 3 cars down.

as i walked up i could smell un-burnt fuel from the car burning rich, and the car sounded like ****.

he was smoking a cigerette, so i said "hey, rev that thing, i wanna hear the turbo's"
he revv's the car pretty high, and before you could hear the turbos spool, the ****ing car backfires and DIES.

he told me on his lunch break it fired right up, but he hasent talked **** to me sence.........

that was 3mths ago.........hes sence sold the car from what i know, and drives a chevy suburban

Its factory twin turbo, orig 93k kms. The guy that owns it is kinda weird. Its at a dumpy house, always int he car port. Excpet the other day it was sunny and out in front of the house. Im hoping the guy may let it go cheap, apparently he's not quite all there.... But he knows how to take care of a car. In the last 3 weeks I have only seen him drive it once and he was taking it pretty easy.
