Default Problems with my 5.0

Alright I posted this on here a while ago then forgot my password. I am starting to work on my 5.0 again and would appreciate some help.

Last year i missed 4th gear with nitrous going and the car backfired verrrry badly. I know I am stupid for not running a rpm window switch.

the car would run ok for normal driving, but WOT/nitrous would not go very well. The car would backfire and cut out.

Now the car cuts out all the time. It bucks/jerks and never runs ok.

The first time I messed it up I checked the compression and it was good. I changed the plugs as well and those were good. I have been told i probably bent a valve and now it runs very bad all the time because the valve might have broken off.

What do you think?

if it bent a valve a compression test will pick it up or a cylinder leakage test will confirm that.......if it runs bad could have a blown intake gasket..upper and or lower..and if it's got a miss I'd perform a cylinder balance test via the ecm self test function to find a cylinder which is contributing less power

Alright I will do both of those... Anyone know where i can get the upper to lower gasket for the BBK intake mani? I can't seem to find one anywhere.

What do i need to perform the cylinder balance test? I've never even heard of that.
