smog pump bypass

Default smog pump bypass

i am trying to by pass the smog pump. and was wandering if i could do this without using the bypass kit. any help would be greatly appreciated. i looked in FAQs and couldnt find anyting on this. thanks again david.

you can, just disconnect everything and plug everything that its connected to.
for a clean look try and follow all the hoses and stuff back to the source and plug it there.
that way you dont have hoses running around with bolts in the end of them.
see if someone can tell you the belt size that works, i had to get the pulley cause i couldnt find a belt at my autozone that worked without squeeling.

duralast belt number 770k6 to bypass the smog pump.

sometimes it sucks living not to close to a autoparts store..i routed mine different than most usually do..so mine was a different lenght n i went to the parts store in two different towns like twice to the one n 3 times to the other cuz the size was being stupid...but if finally got it figured out....cant remember the size..but im goin to see my car for the first time in acouple months tomorrow ..so ill check n see what was..

thanks for the belt number fits good but it looks like it is rubbing havent checked it to see what it looks like now that it is installed. just installed it yesterday. thanks for the help

no problem we all don't know everything right off the rip just look at some of my old threads and new ones i am still asking q's about fox rods .
