Default Low Beam Lights Are Not Working

I have a 1993 Ford Mustang GT and my low beam lights and fog lightsare not working. I went to an auto shop that said that my lights are not burnt out and that it might bean electrical problem. I went into myowners manual but i dont even know where to begin at. I'm also on a budget andI dont want to spend $100 dollars on something so easy that I could probably fix. Can anybody help me? Thank You

there is a short harness that ends right before you plug into the light itself... test the output on the end of it with a multimeter... if there is no power, unplug the oter end and test power going into the harness... if there is power then you need that small piece of harness

Its a common problem. You should be able to find a write up on it if you use the search function. Only happens with fog light cars
