bumper paint
The paint is starting to chip of my front bumper especially around my fog lights. What would you recomend tofixthis. Can i get away with sanding down the bad areas and using spray paint to cover it up? I dont really have the money for a pro job, but i don't want it to look weird.

RE: bumper paint
Spray paint would look weird. i would remove the bumper sand it down real nice with 320 and take it somewhere to get painted. If its off the car and sanded you should be able to have it done for around $200

RE: bumper paint
Wouldn’t the newly painted bumper have a different shade of white than the rest of the car? I’m really just looking for a quick fix until I have enough money to paint the entire car this summer. The yellow/black that’s under the whitelooks really bad and it’s killing me just looking at it. I havedone similar small paint spots before and it usuallycomes out respectable,or atleast better then it was before.Ill ask a friend who’s a little more experienced to help me out.
Thanks for the reply.

RE: bumper paint
well, spray paint will most likely be off, a body shop will be able to somewhat match it better... but probably not the best... if you dont mind it looking a little off then i would probably spray paint it and put a coat of clear on till you have the money to get it painted the rest of the way...
just my opinion though
it cant look anyworse than what you are talking about im sure, i'd rather have it a different shade of white rather than white with yellow/black spots haha.
