here's the deal.
I drove somewhere and went inside, and when i came back out it wouldn't start. Its not the starter cuz i can hear it cranking, so i jumped it and drove it home. I replaced the battery which was a little overdue, but this morning it wouldnt start. It seems like the alternator is fine, cuz when I rev the rpms up to 2000 it will charge. It wont hold overnight when i use an external charger. im not sure whats goin on.

parasitic drain? wtf? is there some secret light someplace that i cant find thats suckin all the power? haha.

 

sun visors maybe?? alt?? coulb be anything..first thing to do is get a ammeter or multimeter with the function and hook it in series between neg battery terminal and battery post and read the drain.. max spec with all doors and hood light unplugged should be 25-50 milliamps...anything greater and something is staying on that you can't see
