intake manifold
It deffinitaly plans on what your doing, if your deffinitaly going to get a new manifold, read this article: http://www.tmossporting.com/tabid/3451/Default.aspxtheres alot of information but it will help you figure out what you want.
It all depends on your goals in the end.
No need for a Systemax/RPM II with your current combination.
If you plan on upgrading H/C/I, then look into it.
Right now, go with a Street Heat or Performer.
The Performer can be ported later to match some good heads. This is the route I chose.
Tom Moss did the porting.

I disagree, Buy the right parts the first time. Why spend money on porting later when you could buy a better intake now for later? The cost difference now is minimal. what will the cost difference be after porting?

If he plans on future modifications, get the parts to supply what he is doing later on and his future goals.
If he is planning on keeping the combination he has now for quite sometime, buy the intake match his requirements now. Then two years from now, sell the old intake and buy one.
Cost for porting was a little over $100.
As I said, it all depends on the future goals.
This includes:
- Time
- Power
- $$$$
What are your goals for the car? do you plan on spinnin high rpm in the future? if you're only looking for something that is great threw idel-5500 then i would say find a gt-40 best intake for the 5.0 in that rpm range
GT40 intake for sure. They can be had for a great price and they tend to perform better on street cars then the aftermarket stuff. They give you a much better powerband then peak horsepower numbers. When you start making more power down the road, you can port the GT40 to grow with your setup.
