removing my upper intake manifold and everything is loose but the last stud or bolt ison the passenger side rear andhas some kindof pipe flange attached to it. Anybody have the bestidea as to how th remove that flange and pipe. It goes to the back of the engine on the drivers side. And what is it for. FSM does not help at all........

What year? 94/95 have a EGR tube that run down to the exhaust IIRC.....that is my guess at what it is.

if it is the egr tube, just use a pipe wrench on it


I know mine was really hard to get off the first time I did it

should have posted the year...1990 convertible. It feels like the pipe goes back into the back of the blockon the drivers side.
