Default new idle issues

ok i re ran all the importan vacuum lines and reconnected the egr. this allong with adjusting the throttle stop screw wich was in way to far has improved driveability greatly also idles normally for the most part. the cam is stock also. still the car is running rich for some reason? if i leave it idling for a while it will throw blak soot on the ground also idling rough but at a steady rpm about 700-800rpm. wat can this 87 gt to run rich?

Why was the egr disconnected and where did you run the vacuum line from to reconnect it?

OK, just makin sure it was hooked to the right source. Make sure it doesn't have vacuum at idle.

if it is fuel injected it should have a M.A.F. (mas air flow senser) it should be right by the inlet on you intake.
