pull off the valve covers and pushrods/rockers. stick those down the p/r holes and they have magnets that grab the lifters.... your suposed to lift them up and hold them in the lifter bores so that their outa the way of the cam, then able to take off the front **** and pull out your cam


do they work... i dont know, but its a decet theory

 

those are to hold lifters up = goes in place of push rods

 

In the March 2006 issue of 5.0 Mustang they used them on a cam swap and claimed they worked well for what it is worth...
