I can hear alternator noise coming through my radio (stock head unit). 94 gt. How do I resolve? thx

 

Probably need a new altenator, I think they make some sort of noise filter for that prob

 

Ive herd that if you have a bad spark plug wire it can cause radio interference, dont quote me on this though.

 

check your grounds...i know its easier said than done. have you tampered with the radio or added speakers. you describing what sounds like to me as a bad ground....

have you changed spark plugs recently? you need to make sure that any spark plugs you get have a resistor in them other wise you will get that noise though the speakers

 

i know my cell phone interferes with my stock raido expecially nextels and att phones, the have this clicking sound not all the time but most of the time if im in the car and i turn on the raido...just a guess, and i would think alt is goin also as stated in the previous posts

I just had a tuneup and thats when it started. Thanks for the inout--must be the plugs.
