Default 90MM MAF

I have a 90mm MAF on my 88GT they guy I got it from said he did it for more power and torque but my cousin said it's too big for what I have. I have a E303 cam, underdrive pulleys, holley fuel regulator, shorty headers no cats and flowmasters, MSD cap and accell performance wires, the car runs good but in the morning it starts up and shuts off about 3 times I will be willing to bet it's because of the 90mm MAF but afterthat it runs fine. The car overall runs great other than second gear is worn some but I love the way it's sounds and pullls should I leave it alone or replace it with a smaller one....

i had a 90mm mass air (the granatelli) the car ran like crap for a while, and i kept changing a bunch of stuff before i heard that 90mm is way big for N/A engines[:@],so i ordered a 75mm Pro-M, and the car stopped running bad, so IMO yea 90mm is big, i would go with the 75mm mass air
