My throw out bearing seems to be going out every couple of months i was just wondering if anyone knew what would cause it to go out so often? is there something i am messing up when i put it back together? thanks

 

check the input shaft bearing retainer for wear, and make sure you are putting the bearing in correctly

 

I replaced the sleeve the last time that i did it with a hardened steel one......and as far is putting the bearing goes really there is only one way to put it in right?

 

there is only one way to put it in right.... but a few ways to put it in wrong

yeah its chirping and i can feel some vibration in the clutch pedal.. how can i put it in wrong not trying to be a smart a$$ i just want to make sure i get it right this time

 

hey i was getting ready to put the new bearing in and noticed that there is a bump.....is that supposed to go a certain direction? Sorry its hard to understand i dont really know how to explain it if someone can help i would appreciate it thanks
