Default time for a new car

so your probably thinking "what the hell is this 2v chump posting here"? well i wanted to get a new car lately and was thinking about getting a wrx or new GT. But lately ive been wanting a fox body so bad. i saw the sexiest one i have ever seen the other day and now its all i want. i figure it wouldn't cost to much to get one, and with all the mods it it would be cheaper and faster then just buying a new GT. problem is i hardly know jack about the car. what do i need to look for? whats the best year in the third gens? just looking for some advice on the 5.0 i guess.

Why the hell is this OT ***** here? lol. First thing i would look for is a straight rust free body, that's the most important thing. I like the 84-93, but like the 87-93 better. Stay away from the 86 becauseof it's pistons unless you plan to change them.87 and most 88 will have speed density. MAF started in 89. Forged pistons till 92 although i've heard that the later 92 models had hyper pistons. I have an 89 and like it better than the 93 and 91 i had. 89 is nice for it's tilt wheel and maf if you stay fuel injected. If going carb i still like the 89 for it's tilt. But like i said earlier it's better to start with a car that has a solid body and frame.

if your searching my only choice for an aero car would be an 89 it has the mass air for easy mods and no airbag which= tilt steering ftmfw
