Okay i just found out yesterday while cleaning my car, my doors are pretty much trash, one has a giant hole in it... and its rusting pretty bad along the bottom (i knew that much) But its getting worse and worse

I have checked all local salvage yards, and i cannot find any T-top mustang doors ANYWHERE!

i need some help, its going to be awhile before i can buy them, but i was just wondering if anybody knows of a place where i could find some replacements.

yeah the ttop door is the same although the later vert doors
(like mine)dont have the mirror mounted up high like your stock setup but the 87-90 i think it is verts have the same mirror but dont quote me. you might have to do a glass swap or something iirc.

yeah ttop doors are rare[8D] ive had one ttop car it was an 87 it was a 302 with a carb and 5spd

there was a 4cylinder ttop at the junkyard near my house but im pretty sure its been crushed with the price of sheetmetal these days



and if nothing else buy a coupe or hatch door and hack it up like the ttop door.

Ford didnt make ttop or verts foxes they were all either coupes(the also made ttop coupes) or hatches and they were sent out of house to a aftermarket company called cars by cars i think it was and that company hacked the roofs up

 

hmmm... i'll have to look into that.

I have the glass so thats a good thing... i guess if they aren't the same then i can always swap the components inside.

yea the mirrors depending on what vert you get your doors from will be at different heights.

 

yeah heres a close up of my mirror, imho the traditional mirror looks 100% better
