Even with some mods, you would get worked over. The LT1 engines will beat a stock 5.0, the LS1's are way better and he's not even stock. They are faaast.

If he's that bad of a driver, you should be able to get to the next stop light (if it's not too far away).But when hehooks in second and third he's going to pull on you hard.Just as everyone said, the heads are killing you.Buta 150 shot will keep him away even with thoses heads.

thought i'd post a little update for you guys. we were sittin atBryan(Z28 kid)house talkin about cars and all these interestate kills he's had racing from 45mph up to 130mph. and he was sayin he'd kill me on the interestate. so i said "well duh" and he was talkin crap on the mustang again. i bet him 20 bucks i'd pull on him from launch to my 2nd gear before he'd overtake me.

....its a stupid bet and a dumb race buuuuuuuttt....

he did a hugggggge burn out and we lined them up. i did a semi aggressive launch and eased into the gas pedal not even chirping the tires just building speed as fast as i could without spinning away. i look in my rear view and just see him burn up his tires and i was at least2 cars ahead, granny shifted second(tranny is junk[:'(]) and he all of a sudden i see him passing me as soon as i gas it in second.....god damn those things are crazy fast when you're driving next to them and not in them. lol.

got my 20 bucks for whoopin him through 1st gearand im so excited to get my other mods done so i can kill him.

god it sounds like that kid really really cant drive [:'(]. but to what everyone else said, 350rwhp is possible with boltons only, its the high end.340 give or take is about average for LT's and boltons. that happened about how i expected. like everyone else said you will need a pretty good set of heads to compete here.

yea even pullin on him in first and him spinnin hard in 1st and spinning a little bit in 2nd, he pulls so freakin hard in 2nd that i know i wont have a chance without the heads...maybe a power adder, but heads are a must if i wanna beat him. GT40's here i come!
