ive got one but its not a 4x4
and it doesnt look as nice at least not yet
it was my grandfathers, it has looked exactly the same as long as i can remember. also has the 400 mine has a c6 with ac, ps pdb. th ac comes on but in needs a slight boost to the system never gets truely cold, something thats need in south ga. the only problem wih the 400 is the low factory compresion about 7.8:1 to 8:1 is that and the detonation prone 2v heads. really want to liven it up check out this site www.auffordparts.com;)

Thanks for the comments guys, I know its still got some work ahead of it but its coming along. Im bleeding the brakes off again at the prop. valve and it will be driveable! I think the power valve in the carb is junk, or I have a vaccuum leak cause if I chop the throttle it chokes, but if I hold it WOT, the secondary opens after a sec and BAM that **** makes it worth the time and effort.
Oh and someone tried to steal it last night, by picking the ignition and was unsuccessful. But now the ignition is ****ed and I cant move the truck from where they rolled it into the middle of the cul-de-sac.[:@]

OH MY GOD ACE YOU GOT A 78!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANTED ONE SO BAD BUT COULDNT FIND ONE BY ME! but i did end up with my 85, with my turbo 5.0 swap of course.[sm=crossbonesgif.gif]usmc, thats a awsome lookin truck bro. Id get that suker in the air if i was you though. straight axles are so easy to lift. awsome awsome awsome trucks everyone!!!

eh kinda i was seriously thinking about that, i love the dukes of hazzard ftw :P but uncle jessies truck was older wasnt it with the turn signals at the top of the grill? pretty sure i also have a 72 f150 explorer also picked it up for 50$ has a bad c4 auto in it think it might just be vaucuum or something havent really looked into it.
but i love the OP's truck makes me drool, ive never had a 4x4 and i live in south ga i feel ashamed
i need one to haul all my cars around. I think im gonna paint mine dark met green just like original cause its kinda sentimental
