Went to the junk yard today, I was searching for some haeds.Walked around the whole yard and finally in the last row I spotted a mountaineer with the heads still on it! Took me an hour and a half to get them off.And I paid 70 bucks for them! Just thought I would share my excitement with ya

im gonna be junkyard hunting this summber, but only to sell stuff on he ol' craigslist.

i wouldent do it even if you could


you payed $90 for the heads, id eather sell them for profit (you could prob get $250 for thouse) or save up and have them ported.

would be making good as power for cheap!

Yea thats a good point. I got the heads cheap enough, so I guess I should spend the extra cash on new parts.

Yup Im gonna get em ported and polished, and a valve job. I just have to find a good shop to do it for me.

yes u can use the pedestal rockers off your e7's if they are still pedestals on the gt40 if they are still pedestal style
