well, it's gone. he picked it up last night around 9:45...i got pictures of all the new parts to go into in, along with a few shots of the GT before he took it. i couldn't get any shots of it on the dolly, or him driving it away..it was too dark out.

i won't lie, it was REALLY upsetting seeing it being driven away like that. i mean yeah, its not being taken away to be junked, but idk, it was my car, and now its gone..it was just a weird/upsetting feeling.

he is pulling the motor/tranny on thursday night...he is giving me a new oil pan gasket, head gaskets, and intake gasket, (basically wherever there are gaskets, i am getting new ones) so everything is new and sealed up before he drops it in the notch.

he told me it will take approximately 6 weeks, give or take. he only works at his "second" shop tuesday and thursday nights..and he has other customers that he does work for that he will have to keep doing while he is working on mine. he plans to have my GT totally stripped in 2 to 3 weeks, so he can scrap it and get the room in his garage.

i might be going there either thursday night to watch/ help (ha, yeah right) him pull the engine and tranny...but i will be going there for sure one day/night next week with my best friend to pull the 140 mph cluster outta the GT, and my seats..me and him will be doing all the little bullsh*t stuff, while my buddy handles the serious ****.

so yeah, it has begun, and i cant even put into words how excited i am...i will have those few pics i snapped posted up later!!

oh, and for looks sake, we are gonna turn my GT catback into dumps until i buy my SLP..it would look just way too retarted to leave it hahah

idk who would want a totally stripped GT that needs a whole new front clip, and has a frame damage...but hey, if someone on here wants it..let me know, itll be yours for real cheap...

UPDATE : the engine and tranny came out of the GT on thursday night. i have one bad motor mount that will be replace..i am going down there tuesday night to do some interior work with my friend, I WILL HAVE PICTURES THEN!!!!!!

i will also be going there on thursday night. he is doing the rear end/some suspension then, so i am going down to watch/help (ha, yeah, about thatt..), and supply pizza and beer. will have more pics from then too!!!

the rear end is in the notch, they fuked up a shock during the swap, so i just ordered a new strange one from summit, should be here on monday....on monday they plan on doing the fuel tank and lines...and by the end of next week the whole chasis should be done!!

the last picture of the red LX is my buddy's car, the one who is doing all the swapping and such.
