Default 89 GT

Is an 89 GT a Mass air car or is it a speed density car?

My wife found a sweet looking 89GT at a family friends house and I was thinking of buying it. They told her $1800 and she could have it.

Hello Turbo Charger Kit!!!!. I beleive the car is a pure virgin also, I have only seen it from the side of the road. I have some pictures I will try and get posted up, but they are big as all get out, I don't think my wife knows how to take small pictures. Or I can email them to somebody and they can resize them and post them. Thanks

Either the photbucket site is down or my home PC is messed up because I couldn't get in to the site. But anyhow, the car being from South Louisiana, has been beat on by the southern sun, the interior is in pretty good shape though considering it's age. The paint has a quite a few blemishes. I haven't heard the car run, but my wife said that the man cranked it up for her and and started and ran fine. She said her sister got goose bumps from when it fired up. My wife says it had a little lope to it, if that is so, I know it won't be a virgin car like I thought. I was looking at either doing a H/C/I or possibly forced induction via Turbo or Centrifigal procharger. What kind of power have you guys seen out of the cobra intakes with GT 40's with like an E cam?

man if i were u i would upgrade the fuel system, pump, injectors, and throw a turbo[8D] on that biiaattchh and with a decent tune u could easily see high 300's to the wheels and still get great gas mileage

So is it possible to reach high 300rwhp with stock induction like the mass air meter, throttle body, intake and heads and such?

is it possible? yeah...with a turbo or blower, but even then you would need to upgrade the fuel system including maf, and throttle body
