Yet another problem with the stanger (and I will love it till it or I dies). About 2 yrs ago I had the ignition switch(where you put your key into) replaced because I would have to mess with it to get the turn signals to work . Now, I'm having the same problem, and the A/C doesn't work also. I have to mess with the key again to get the A/C and turn signals to work (well actually I cannot get them to turn on now). Ive never put any lubricant on the inside, because I found out thats why the last one broke. Is there anyway I can pull this apart and clean it, or do I have to get a new switch. I'm starting to rebuild the car, and have taken the dash apart and found a mess with the wiring. The guy I bought it from obviously threw the car together, just to get rid of it.

try replacing ignition switch = elec portion

 

i figured it out. the connector under the ignition switch had a few wires pulled out. The white box wasnt staying in place also, so I took a cable wrap and made it secure...
