its not a consistant problem but happens more than enough to be bothersome.


i've fixed all my prior codes/idle issues.

my newest problem is first start up for the day sometime i crank for 2-3 seconds, try again for 4 seconds.(everything cranks normal speed, ect.just wont start) after third attempt it starts.

now its not the first start up of every day. seems to be on the hotter days its worse. but sometimes it will start at the flick of the key. other times it doesnt want to start at all.

but whats throwing me off is no codes koeo or koer and it doesnt happen every cold start up.

ideas?

try cycling the key 3 or 4 times before trying to start it. If the pressure is bleeding down from sitting long periods of time, it will have enough pressure to fire on the first trywhen cranking. If trying that works consistantly, then you'll have to fine the source of what's causing it to bleed down. Whether it's the pump not holding pressure, a leaking injector or even a line leaking. But you should be able to smell that.
