Default heat from tranny

so, i put in a remanufactured T5 from D&D performance in my car a while back, and ever since there has been an unreal amount of heat coming from that general area. its installed correctly, and has Royal Purple fluid in it. its almost unreal how hot it gets in the car, i dont even have to turn my heat on. any ideas? thanks guys.

Dude, it just gets hot, especially when it's hot outside. Mine does the same thing.

same here, sometimes the tri-ax handle even feels warm..

only thing I could think of is just lay some dynamat or heat insulator on the floor and tunnel... dont know if it would do anything....
